Guest guest
I have IVIG administered in my home by an RN every four weeks and have for years. You need to find a visiting nurse group that does infusions. Most of them are used to doing in home antibiotics. Mine was all set up by my doctor. Guest guest
I have begun Minocin and have a prescription for IV clindamycin for longstanding (20 yrs) RA. I live in a small town and must drive to a nearby town to have the IV administered; however, an RN friend has agreed to administer the IV for me in my home. Unfortunately, neither my local pharmacy nor Walgreens pharmacy can provide IV clindy--only oral. Has anyone had IV antibiotics administered outside of a hospital or doctor's office environment? Do you have any suggestions? I have three children in 6th grade, 5th grade and preschool. While it could be done, traveling for the IV would be very inconvenient. Thanks, S. Guest guest
I hoped to have my friend do the infusion, but I will go this route if she can't. Thank you. Guest guest
, years ago when I had the IV clindamycin, I lived in Missouri, and there you could get the prescription for the clindamycin and supplies at the local hospital's pharmacy. In Texas, you had to go through a home health care agency. They will deliver the supplies to your home. The doctor who prescribed the IV clindamycin should be able to tell you how to get it. Guest guest
Hi, I went to a chelation clinic and got my IV's. They orderd everything for me. I brought them the protocol to read up on it. It was not a problem. Judy Duncan **************Feeling the pinch at the grocery store? Make meals for Under $10.
