Guest guest
Roman- I just read it (it's on page 6 of the book, not 61 -- excerpt page 10) and I'm wondering too. Perhaps his observations are dependent on the extraction method? But are there any true cold pressings of CLO that don't damage any of the PUFAs in the oil? I don't know. Lately I've been noticing that CLO seems to make me tired, and I've stopped taking it. >I just read on Amazon's site a few sample pages of Bieler's book Food >is Your Best Medicine, and on page 61 I found him lashing cod liver >oil. He didn't seem to have any good thing to say about it. He >mentions Pottenger's work to support his statements. Was he mistaken >about it? I've heard people get some substantial benefits from cod >liver oil. -
Guest guest
and Roman, As with all oils, the way they are produced is KEY. High quality clo is the only kind worth taking. I just got my first bottle of the stuff from Radiant Life, but it's too early to tell how it's affecting me. I know there was a thread about this maybe last month--seems that this list is split on whether clo is a good idea or not. Since I'm a city girl with no access to raw milk and limited access to good meat, I need all the help I can get.
