Hello Lakshmanan,

Very sorry to hear about your wife ! A good starting point is to look

on the www.roadback.org website. Here's the actual link :

http://www.roadback.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/education.sub/subgroup_id/8.html

You will see they recommend you to read The New Arthritis Breakthrough

by Henry Scammell - this is available from Amazon in the UK and USA,

but I really don't know about Malaysia.

This link also tells you how to request a list of doctors specializing

in the AP, in your geographical area, though again I don't know

whether there will be any near you.

I am in the UK, and there is only 1 such doctor listed in this

country. So I read the book and then gave it to my own doctor to read.

She was

impressed, and agreed to prescribe the antibiotic for me (it is

normally prescribed for acne, so this wasn't a problem for her).

If you have an open-minded doctor who you know well, this might work

for you.

Let us know whether you manage to get the book, as if not someone on

this site may be able to help you to get it.

Best wishes, Kate (Seropositive RA)
