Guest guest
There are many products you might be assuming that do not have gluten, but they do.Rice Crispies have gluten in them. Anything with Malt is gluten. The list goes on and on. I shop at Whole Foods and buy only products that say they are gluten Free. Ketchups, cereals, etc.
Guest guest
: thanks...I do not use ketchup or malt or Rice Krispies or any of that type of cereal. When I eat cereal, I eat Oat Meal...the plain old fashioned cook it the old fashion way...and the oat bran says it is just that..oat bran. i eat food in its original state except for the ezekiel bread which I have learned is gluten in it. In my meal, my goal is to have one carb. Say brown rice. Or very rarely, a white potato. MOSTLY my potato choice is sweet potato. although I LOVE baked Idaho Potato. I have NONE in my frig. Just sweet potato. LOL I really do my best to eat food non processed. It is hard. Say for lunch today, a hard boiled egg. half bananna. or a small apple. Sometimes a avocado but now I have learned they are fat but a good fat. sounds like a yucky lunch. but it is healthy. A small salad would also be a lunch choice. OR say some homemade chicken soup with the fat removed from the chicken broth(I make my own broth). I like a raw carrot and celery. I try to get some carb in tho to balance things. I think I am eating healthy... I stay on the outside aisles of the grocery with the fruits, veggies, meats...for dairy i use skim milk. IF I eat cheese it is the low fat string cheese. For salads, I use OLIVE Oil. You are doing a good job with Whole Foods. Love, ML
