Guest guest
, Val always has said that she likes to see the sodium at the upper part of the range, about 143-144, so yours is perfect! And she said potassium should be 4.2-4.4, so your potassium is perfect, too! I am jealous...lol...I take my salt, increased it again, and my sodium dropped. So it looks like you found the right dose for you. So I would test again in 2 weeks and see if you are holding at these levels. If you have, then you could probably get away with once a month for awhile unless you change your dose of HC, then I would retest since HC can lower your potassium. I think a lot of us would be envious of those levels, at least I am (of the sodium). I would just stay on the amounts you are on and re-test in 2-3 weeks to see if it's holding at those levels.> > Terri> > > From: martimusm > Sent: Friday, April 23, 2010 5:37 AM> To: RT3_T3 > Subject: Re: electrolite labs after my first weeks of supplementation (BUMP)> > > > It has been a bit more than two weeks now since I started supplementing with 1200 of potassium and a bit less than half teaspoon salt with water two times a day. The salt I am taking is called "Maldon salt". The potassium is slow release and I am taking to caps of 600 each.> > These were my lab results before starting supplementation:> > Sodium: 138.0 mEq/L (135-145)> Potassium 3.96 mEq/L (3.5-5)> > And this are the labs after two weeks of supplementation:> > Sodium: 143.0 mEq/L (135-145)> Potassium 4.27 mEq/L (3.5-5)> > How does this look?> Shold I introduce modifications in the dosing?> When should I test again to be safe?> > > Thanks a lot,> >
