Guest guest
Sounds like pulmonary doctor. I gave him the book Arthritis breakthrough and the Road back and he started to read the book in the office with me sitting there waiting to finish my appointment with him. It was kind of funny, but I have been telling him over the last two years that I appriciated that he started me on Biaxin to get me better. He even look at the physicians pages and promised me that he would read the book Eva. From: Maz <marilyn.m@...> Subject: rheumatic Breakthrough with my GP rheumatic Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2010, 7:49 PM Â Yesterday avo I needed to get a tetanus shot (dog bite..lol) so of course went to see my GP (think you call them PCP's??) anyway, this is my own doctor not the one who is treating me with AP. On to the story with a bit of background: My Dr was extremely anti & sceptical about me trying AP, but back in the beginning showed some thoughtfulness & asked if he could monitor my progress .. of course I agreed. Every time I had seen my AP Doc I made an appt to bring him up to date & gave him copies of all the blood test results. When he was getting the injection ready we were talking & he mentioned I looked really well, I told him I was still asymptomatic (not remission but absolutely no symptoms) the eyebrows shot up & I realised he was impressed,, he asked if I had a minute -- of course I said yes & sat down. He gave me the shot then floored me by asking me what meds I was taking, what quantity & how often (that's a first for him) & then said ,, if this is the result I am more than impressed, I hope whomever is prescribing the meds & monitoring you is involved in the research! He also said he had finally read all the information in the physician's pack I had given him (way back in the beginning) from the RB website. He apologised for doubting my intent & said he was really pleased for me I had insisted on not going down the traditional medicine route. That was a WOW moment !!! I always knew there was a good reason I liked him as a doctor, he is honest, has time for his patients & only wants the best outcome for them. This is a huge step forward into just maybe him coming on board as another AP dr.
Guest guest
It's a nice moment when a doctor actually listens & does help isn't it !! I am so glad you are doing so well. > > > From: Maz <marilyn.m@...> > Subject: rheumatic Breakthrough with my GP > rheumatic > Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2010, 7:49 PM > > > Â > > > > Yesterday avo I needed to get a tetanus shot (dog bite..lol) so of course went to see my GP (think you call them PCP's??) anyway, this is my own doctor not the one who is treating me with AP. > > On to the story with a bit of background: > My Dr was extremely anti & sceptical about me trying AP, but back in the beginning showed some thoughtfulness & asked if he could monitor my progress .. of course I agreed. Guest guest
Hi everybody. This is Dolores. Over the last 48 hours, I have developed an allergy. It started when my neighbor brought over a bag of mangoes from his tree. I didn't realize it could be the mangoes as I also used the Raid to kill some mosquitos that were lurking in my plants. I have used Raid before, w/o a hitch. And have handled mangoes before also. My daughter called this morning when I was on the way to the doctors as my face was bumpy and swollen in several places. She told me that it was probably the mangoes as the outer skin is like poison oak or poison ivy. She has this reaction to mangoes also. The face was red where it was swollen and my mouth got all disfigured . I looked like I had hives all over my face, especially around the eyes and mouth. My lips are all chapped and crusty. Well, the doc is not sure, but he ordered Benadryl and some lotion for the face and cream for the body.  While at the doctors office, we began to discuss the antibiotic protocol and he too is very impressed. He is going to present the faq. sheet to his colleagues. Maybe they will be just as impressed and will start a circle of A/P docs on the Island of Puerto Rico. I am hoping this news will spread. Yes, there is hope!  BTW, did you all know that we had an earthquake of 5.8 magnitude with the epicenter only 6 kilometers from my house. Mike and I were in the process of having our mid-night snack when it struck and we were dumbfounded. It was the last thing I expected. The last big one that hit this Island was in 1918. No damage was caused. My bookcase shook a bit and my precious glass vase shook. But nothing broke. It was over in a matter of seconds and so far I have not felt any after shocks. That is what is called a rude awakening! Take care! Dolores & Mike From: Maz <mazm_mm@...> Subject: rheumatic Re: Breakthrough with my GP rheumatic Date: Wednesday, May 19, 2010, 11:54 PM  It's a nice moment when a doctor actually listens & does help isn't it !!
