Guest guest
hi lynne what do you think re mercola's comment that measure of 1-25D means nothing. he said it changes all the time. did you have your 1-25 D checked multiple times? was it consistent? i had mine checked 2x and 1st time it was very high and then after avoiding D for a yr it was even higher!!! i'd like to get the test done now but the ony doc i know in w canada who woudl do it has been barred by health BC from doing it anymore. he's an MP doc who was ordering to many and since they are $ he was forced to stop. monique Hi Dodo; I just nipped in at lunch time and turned on the computer while eating only to find that the old " D " question has popped up again. My dear, you are the one that was on MP and know by now all about D because of your correspondance with the MP moderators and probably reading that whole darn site multiple times.I read it twice many years ago and even with all my science I was still left scratching my head. hehehe, maybe you can fill me in a bit more. All I know is that my doc had me tested several years ago.My D25 also known as D3 was low but my D1,25(hydroxy) was super high.Normal ratio should be around 1.1 and mine was 2.8 which means,VERY BAD.I just avoided foods that had D,fish, dairy, eggs and made sure that my gluten free foods were also unfortified.I wore only the grey NOIRs as I need to see and generally covered up when in the greenhouse or garden.I know that I still got a lot of far infrared rays as they travel through clothing.Since I did not do antthing else such as lower lighting in the house ,it took a long time to reach a better but not ideal ratio.
