Guest guest
Hi Lynne, Is the high Vit D level because you are out in the sun during the day? Does it drop during the winter when you are apt to be indoors more? How did you get you Vit D does down? I supposed you don't eat dairy that contains Vit D! But doesn't the body make its' own Vit D. I know there is a vit D1,25 and a Vit D,25 and a Vit D 3. Is there any other Vit D, we should know about? What is your vit D count now? And do you cover up at all with NoIR's, SPF 50 and wear coverup clothing when you are out in the sun. My vit D went very low when I lived in the dark. I did that after I returned to NY after visiting P.R. where I got very dark because of the sun's reaction with taking Mino. I ask these questions because not only do I want to know, but I'm sure others will want to know also. Take care, Best to you & Santos, Hugs n' such! ~~~~Dolores & Mike From: Lynne and Santos <lynneandsantos@...> Subject: rheumatic [Fwd: Vitamin D Deficiency In MS: What The Genetic Link Means, Vitamin and Supplements] " Rheumatic.org " <rheumatic > Date: Sunday, March 22, 2009, 4:33 PM Hi Emma; I still am not sure about the D situation and am sitting on the fence. Here are 2 interesting tid-bits.Personally ,AP did not help me until I knocked down the vit.D for 18 months and found out I had celiac to fix also.It took almost a year to drop the D.My D1,25 was 192 which was way way way too high. http://www.marshall protocol. com/forum2/ 364.html
Guest guest
Hi Dodo; I just nipped in at lunch time and turned on the computer while eating only to find that the old " D " question has popped up again. My dear, you are the one that was on MP and know by now all about D because of your correspondance with the MP moderators and probably reading that whole darn site multiple times.I read it twice many years ago and even with all my science I was still left scratching my head. hehehe, maybe you can fill me in a bit more. All I know is that my doc had me tested several years ago.My D25 also known as D3 was low but my D1,25(hydroxy) was super high.Normal ratio should be around 1.1 and mine was 2.8 which means,VERY BAD.I just avoided foods that had D,fish, dairy, eggs and made sure that my gluten free foods were also unfortified.I wore only the grey NOIRs as I need to see and generally covered up when in the greenhouse or garden.I know that I still got a lot of far infrared rays as they travel through clothing.Since I did not do antthing else such as lower lighting in the house ,it took a long time to reach a better but not ideal ratio. > Hi Lynne, Is the high Vit D level because you are out in the sun > during the day?
