Guest guest
I think I have that problem. Overall, I have secondary adrenal insufficieny (I score very low on cortisol tests that are done in the morning). The drs say that my adrenal glands aren't working like they should because of years on Prednisone. I would love to find a dr who tests for reversed diurnal cortisol levels. What type of dr tested you: was it an endocrinologist? What was involved for the test? The reason I feel that I have this is bec I am so much more alert and functional and feel better midnight to probably 4am! Any info you can give me would be appreciated! Sorry I can't answer your question! Thanks, Carol from NY From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of Ken and Sent: Friday, March 20, 2009 6:49 PM rheumatic Subject: [sPAM] rheumatic OT: reversed cortisol diurnal levels? Does anyone have any experience with reversed diurnal cortisol levels? I have suspected this for a long time and finally found a doctor who tested them in a hospital lab. My levels go from low to high throughout the day with the highest being at midnight instead of the reverse. If you have been treated successfully for this, what did you do for your adrenals to correct it? Thanks,
