Hi

Jeez will you not be able to get any where with adrenals and thyroid with ferritin that low. It should be between 70-90. A multivitamin will not have enough iron in it. You should get it tested again. No iron supps for 5 days before testing. You need to take 100mg-200mg of elemental iron a day to get it up.

Here is a good iron

Currently I am taking a product called Calm-PRT. It is a mixture of rhodiola and PS. I am taking 1000 mgs before bed. The only zinc I am taking is in my multivitamin- -20 mgs. What would the extra zinc be for? I had my ferritin testedlast summer. It was 15.60 (range 6.24-137). The only iron I am taking is in my multivitamin as well. My ND did not seem to concerned about the ferritin. My B12 is above the range. How do I convince my doc to let me go higher with the T3? I feel like if I can get the cortisol under control then maybe my other hormones will level themselves out as well. Problem is my stress level is high. I have 3 kids, one with a life-threatening genetic disease, we are a military family, hubby is deployed for the next 6 months so I'm on my own, frequent moves, no family support. Basically my stress isn't going away any time soon:)
