Hi Suzanne,

I have tried all kinds of the testosterone. I just recently found out that I have a very high SHBG which from what I understand is quite frequently seen with T3 only use. l actually have testosterone pellets inserted because that is the only form that I have had moderate results with. It is however very expensive so if I were you I would start out using an oral or cream and see how things go. I've tried them all....cream, gel, oral and troches/drops. Everyone is different so you may do very well with these standard forms.

I also just started using a product called "Unleashed" which was suggested by one of the other members(??) and I can already tell a difference. I do wish I knew more people taking this product though as I don't know that much about it and I'm sort of winging it so to speak.

All in all the testosterone has seemed to make a big difference in the way I feel. I do also take estrogen and progesterone as well. So it is probably the combination of the hormones along with the use of T3 only.

Hope I helped a little,

Is anyone (women) supplementing testosterone? And if yes, how many mg/day? My free testosterone test was 1.4 (0.1-6.4) . My Dr. wrote a prescription for T but I am wondering if it is enough and wanted to see what others were taking. Has anyone had side-effects?

Thanks, S

I use testosterone in a cream that my doctor prescribed because of my test

results.

My Free testosterone was 23 (range <70). I'm looking at the container for the

cream and I'm not exactly sure how many mg per day! It says it is 2MG/GM and

that I should apply 1/4 tsp a day (which I do). Sorry I am not sure how much I

am actually using.

I haven't really noticed any benefits but I have a ton of symptoms from low

hypo/low cortisol/electrolyte stuff (like everyone) so I haven't noticed any

specific benefit from it really. I've been using it since July. I did notice

that if I ever go too much over the 1/4 tsp (by mistake) that I get a pimple on

my upper lip area. That't the only " side-effect " I've noticed. Since that

happened, I don't let that happen any more.

I am using it because Val said it is important :o)

, Sorry, just a bit off female testosterone - I'm asking for my husband.

He got the test-o-pell about 6 months ago and never felt any better. He had been

using the androgel, which no longer helped. (I'm been after him to get estrogen

checked) I am real interested in the testosterone that you speak of, " unleashed "

is that also a pellet? Can you email me any info? thanks, Pati
