Thanx for the congrats - I'm really relieved it went as through first try!!

I am not having the MGB because I am on an HBO that specifically does not

even cover WLS. They really limit what they will cover when they do approve

for morbid obesity. This surgeon I am using is within their network of

specialists (and is about 40 miles from my home) AND he is a specialist in

LAP procedures of all kinds.

So it will cost me a total of $100 copay rather than self pay plus travel

expenses etc.

It really was a matter of $$$$, but it is a LOT of money. I was impressed

with my surgeon and the hospital and feel as comfortable as is possible for

any major surgery.
