You poor thing, I'm so sorry but just caught it again.

Thanks hon. Well I for one would not go back on the Premarin but that's me. And yes you do need some estrogen or so it sounds from what you said.

You can try a compounded sublingual pill of the natural bioidentical E and/or T.. I'd also take both knowing E alone depletes the T, but that's me, and that melts under your tongue and bypasses the liver and gut on first pass and goes immediately into your blood stream. (I use that form myself) You can get that compounded into one pill but I like doing them separately. If you do use a natural compounded bioidentical one. it's always suggested to split the dosage am and pm.... because they are so natural they leave the system fairly fast and this way keeps the levels more stable too.

You can also use the Estrace cream inserted as one form of systemic estrogen for the whole body. You can also use the Estrace tablet orally but you said that bothered you which seems strange to me since it's got far less ingredients in it than Premarin ever could.

(Are you sure it wasn't a progestin you might have been taking with the E or when you added it, since that is usually the more problematic of the hormones? or I hope it wasn't the PremPro a combination of the two, Premarin & Provera) Can you tell me what it was you were on when you said you couldn't use it? That makes a difference hon.

You can also go with the Vagifem tiny pill inserts (less messy than the creams) but a considerable less amt. of E as well but that mainly focus's on the genital area so not too likely to be very helpful for your whole body. oops just saw you said you were on that.. good for you.

You can use the E-String, an estradiol appliance that works sort of like a pessary that pops in and stays in for 3 months and dispenses the estradiol slowly over that time tho that too isn't that beneficial for HRT replacement *ummmm let me think.

You can use the patches that dispense it through the skin too and those are low doses, 'and last would be using an Estradiol gel that's rubbed on the body such as behind the knees or upper arms or neck to get it into your system as well hon.

As you can see there are many many ways of using the natural bioidentical estrogen (estradiol) to get that into you and all of those I mentioned are the estradiol. But for body benefits? I'd think patches, jels rubbed on the body or the sublingual or oral but you said oral bothered you so that's out hon.

So I sure hope that helps.... and in the end it's a decision that you and your physician need to make to together as to what form you may like to go with. Like I said I take E & T sublingually for my HRT and still use the E & T creams 'topically' specifically for vulvar health. But thats me.. and I need a high dose so the patches and topical gels on the body just aren't high enough to get me up to 'my' needed levels hon.

That's always another thing to take into consideration and why tests need to be run to tweak things to get you to where it's your ideal level not anyone elses.
