Guest guest
I know we're supposed to do the daily avg. temps based on three temps taken after the basal. I never include my basals in my averages. Yet I am wondering what may be the reason my basals are erratic. Yesterday it was 9.6 and today it is 97. Past week I had one day 98.1 (day before period began), then three days of 97.3, then down to 96.6, now it's 97 Is this related to adrenal function or insufficient t3? Guest guest
Hi, Basal temperature tells you about thyroid. I don't know which causes it to fluctuate. I do know that it can be thrown off alot by how restless you are when sleeping. The nights were I toss and turn for whatever reason usually make my basal temp be .3-.5 higher. Could restless sleep be affecting your numbers? I usually mark down if I had bad sleep and ignore that basal for tracking thyroid. hope this helps, Jennie > > I know we're supposed to do the daily avg. temps based on three temps taken after the basal. > I never include my basals in my averages.
