Guest guest
>Okay so I'm hearing you all on getting on T3 ONLY. And I read that you all recommend the Mexican brand of cytomel, cyntomel(sp)? So who are you all doing the mailorder from? Details sent privately. You don't need a prescription >What's the dosage? It comes in 25mcg tablets. Dosing suggestions are here http://thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm >What do I ask my Dr. to write the script for since I will be staring out low and increasing daily/weekly? Generally weekly increases work, how much are you doing with your Dr and how much self treating? if you are going fully with your Dr then US brand name Cytomel is good, if your insurance does not cover it then the Mexican is a LOT cheaper >I am currently taking 6 grains of Naturethroid (390 mgs)--4 grains(260 mgs) in the morning and 2 grains(130 mgs) around 1 p.m. starting dose would be 50mcg then, spread out in 4 doses a day which is 4 half tablets, nice and easy as they are scored in half. First increase would be another half as an extra dose After that start increasing individual doses to 25 instead of 12.5 at roughly weekly intervals depending on pulse/temperature. >I not looking forward to go hypo again.(sigh) You shouldn't need to, I didn't on my T3 journey. Good luck, have a look through the RT3 site, and feel free to ask questions Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
