So, if I understand correctly, I need a course of T3 only starting at an amount equivalent to my 4 grains of NTH or 37.5 mcg T3. Do I divide this in to equal amounts and would I take that with my HC doses? Guest guest
TSH <.006 (0.450-4.50) FT4 1.44 (0.82-1.77) These two labs draw red flags for me. I never liek to see TSH below .01 thatis a sign of either hyper or intolerance to thyroid. Then every time I see FT3 over 1.4 wiht these labs ranges, RT3 is too high. It moight just be a nmatter of lowering natura thyroi da bti to reduce that FT4 an addingin a bit of T3 to bring that up to 4.4 -5.0 -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Thanks, Nick. I have that page book marked ;-) and it is really helpful! My situation doesn't match any of the causes ... unless being 49 is considered aging :-( The other possibility is that while I do not have diabetes, I may have some insulin resistance ... could that contribute? Can low or messed up sex hormones contribute to it? My free testosterone is virtually 0. Can you confirm my calculation is correct and that I do have an RT3 problem? (I just really don't trust myself when it comes to ratios). Guest guest
Val, How much T3 would you add? I am at 4 grains of NatureThroid right now (down from 5 grains when these labs were taken). > > TSH <.006 (0.450-4.50) > FT4 1.44 (0.82-1.77) > > These two labs draw red flags for me. Guest guest
Great! I've been taken the 4 grains 2 in the AM first thing and 2 around 1:00 PM - how should I add in the T3? > > I would try 3.5 grains natural and 25mcg T3. > > -- > > http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://faqhelp.webs.com/ > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ > > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ >
