Guest guest
Tomorrow will be 12 weeks of T3 only for me. Up until Thursday, my temps were better -- more 98.6 readings and more stable although basal temps never above 98. I was hopeful that clearing was near. However, the past two days my temps have dropped to 97.7 -98.1 (basal around 97.3) and I feel tired and low on energy. Basal bpm is usually 68-72 and during the day in low 80's -( has been like this since starting T3). Am baffled that temp has dropped past couple of days and feeling more hypo as I was expecting opposite given 12 week mark. Any thoughts? First day of menstrual cycle was April 2 and have been on about 114 mcg of Cytomel for past 2 weeks or so. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Beth
Guest guest
Normal basal temps are 97.8-98.2 so you may just need a tad more T3. How much are you taking? Maybe you just cleared th ereceptors and now need ot raise. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
Val, Thanks so much for your quick response. I am taking about 114 mcg Cytomel per day at this point. I can feel my pulse is up to the top of what it should be so I am afraid to add T3 b/c it will make my heart race. I am just sitting at the computer right now and my pulse is up near 100 bpm. Once clearance occurs, don't we generally need to lower the dose? Any other thoughts?
