Hey Jazz,

I pay out of pocket for Doc Goldstein and is worth every penny. I am also

going to get IV's from him in July at $90 a pop because I want to make sure

I don't lose function of the thumb. I also put out lots of money for

supplements which are expensive(not from him). I am worth it! I would rather

do this than use the biologics (thanks for the word ) and kill my

immune system and who knows what else!

I have medicare and he does not take medicare.

Subject: rheumatic AP Docs in Michigan that accept insurance!

I think this is the most frustrating part for me. As soon as I find a doc

here in MI that does practice AP they do not accept my insurance. I cannot

afford to pay out of pocket but I'd like to get better just as much as the

person who can pay does. Has anyone found a doc here that does? Conventional

drugs aren't working for me and I'm tired of being a guinea pig to the toxic

meds. This is pretty much my last resort. I have Blue Care Network

insurance.

Hi Cooky,

Thanks for replying. Is Dr. Goldstein located in Michigan? Also do you know how

many IV treatments you would need monthly? $90 isn't bad at all depending on far

apart the treatments are.

Oh thank you so much nealnatemom! I actually found 2 docs on the list that take

my insurance! I do no for a fact that Dr. Lubetsky does NOT practice AP.

I went to see him for that reason because he was on a list and when I asked him

about it he behaved as if he didn't know what the heck I was talking about. He

said that my old rheums use of conventional meds was how he would treat my

situation. I never went back. I wonder if he got in trouble with the hospital

for doing the AP on patients. He is connected to the Henry Ford Hospital here in

MI.

Thanks Judkeels. Unfortunately doctors like Brownstein are out of my reach

because of the out of pocket expense. Seems my insurance only pays for the

mediocre ones who want to shut you up by stuffing drugs down your throat. I did

check Dr. Brownstein out about a year ago and he does seem great but when I

heard how much the office visit was, sadly I had to pass. It sucks being sick

with limited finances. Can't get to see who you really need to.
