Guest guest
80%? Where'd you hear that? I'm 2nd born, blind left eye since birth. My brother doesn't have it. Will do your poll. I don't recall, I think you were going to try to find out about your moms eyes, and how many 2s have this. << Carla, I forget exactly what the eye thread was about. I remember it being that there are a lot of NF2 people that are blind in one eye, and we were talking a lot about that. However, I forget exactly what the new thread was about. Was that related to being the first born? Which is interesting. I've picked up a new fact 80% of all NF2 people are first-born whether they are new cases or inherited. Anyone care to venture a guess?? I've created a poll on the Yahoo Groups site to do a survey about this. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NF2_Crew/surveys?id=886413 Please participate if you are able. >>

Guest guest
I know Mike's vision is poor, but does he have anything worse (scar tissue or crossing) in one eye? << I was the 4th born, my half brother was the 3rd born. Guest guest
Right! That's what we were talking with and Tara about at dinner the night before his surgery. (, remember?) We were discussing how we each first found out about our NF, our symptoms. Though my blind eye wasn't one of the ways I found out (bc docs never linked it, but I think some do now) (Donna G?) Anyway our stories were similar, rough time on phone, walking crooked etc. Then I told about my eye (that I was able to link it after the fact, bc of the Crew) and how many of us are this way. I don't think he knew this, so that's the thread. was asking about how many ppl I know of on the Crew have it. I've estimated before it was probably close to 50% of us, but I could only think of of a few that night. << I think it would be interesting to have a poll of how many 2's were born with a blind eye. It just amazes me everytime I hear someone saying that. na >>

Unless they've changed it, maybe try signing in with your email address then do the " lost password " and see if they send you a new one. It might be different now.
