Guest guest
Is it possible to be hyper on 65-70mcg T3? I'm in week 7. I'm wondering what to check into as I have no ferritin issue, no cortisol issue (prior to T3 treatment) and the salt test has not brought down my high resting pulse, which is now consistently over 100 BPM. My sodium, RBC magnesium and calcium were all recently checked mid-range. My potassium was low-normal. In the past 4 weeks I've begun supplementing B-12, folate, vitamin D - I was deficient in all of these. I've also added B vitamins and vitamin C. Is it possible I've been improving my hypothyroidism with the vitamins and is it possible for me to stabilize on less than the 75-125mcg that is the average for folks? I've suspected an aldosterone issue, but high pulse and low blood pressure usually sees a rise in potassium, right? Mine is low-normal. What else should I be looking into here?? Please help - I'm very concerned about the consistently high BPM and am hesitant to decrease the T3. I'm not sure what to check next.
