Guest guest
Not buying it! Before my hashi's went from hyper to hypo I was eating a very healthy diet and taking all the trace minerals, vitamins, supplements, etc. When you have thyroid antibodies, diet is not the culprit. Diet can help a lot of issues, but it's not going to cause or cure RT3 issues. Just my honest opinion. Shirley > > All: > > I have read a number of authorities who argue against taking thyroid hormones and argue instead that us hypo folks should balance our minerals to make our thyroids work properly...lousy diets for years can result in severe mineral imbalances...I wonder how many or us hypos are simply deficiet in minerals....then we get hypo...which makes it more difficult for us to retain minerals from diet....I found the enclosed interesting...hope you find it helpful! > > > http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:xV2-9z5_q4cJ:www.ithyroid.com/iron.htm+palpi\ tations+iron & cd=2 & hl=en & ct=clnk & gl=us >
Guest guest
Ah that it shoudl be that easy. Wonder fi those authors were hypo or had Hashi's? 90% of hypo peopl ehave Hashi's which destroys the thyroi gland THAT is what causes most the hypo. Even with negative antibodies I think MOST people still have ti. I can go years wiht nortmal antibodies then let me scrww up the wrong thing, like taking iodine, and WOW do they still flare. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
you said: " I can go years with normal antibodies then let me screw up the wrong thing, like taking iodine,.. " ------------------ I personally have had normal antibodies in my last labs...but am curious about iodorol. a while back I was taking it regularly to boost my immune system...while I was taking that horrid re-formulated Armour. but now ...since i'm on the good stuff (erfa) I'm sort of afraid to take it. can you give me any more insight ..........on the pros and cons of taking it (idorol)............now that my temps are (HALLALUJAH!) closer to normal and more closer to being stabilized? I'm currently on Hc 4 X day for total of 50 mg.....and erfa, a total of 285mg daily in 4 x doses. (I have long-ago-diagnosed malabsorbtion syndrome and also too frequently multiple BM " S which cause me to loose meds only hours after swallowing them, during the day.) I'm also on total of 13 meds daily for : gout, degenerative disc disease, and 3 stenosises, with lots of constant pain, Arthritis, depression, GERD, etc, etc & (B 12 shots,) etc Thanks for any insight. Guest guest
Years ago Iodine was a treatment for hyperthyroid. Many people topday have chosen to forget simple factoids abotu iodine. Such as Hashimoto';s which is highest per capita in Japan.. the nation that consumes the most iodine in the world. I do not think it is a coincidence. But iodine proponents will tell you it si lwo iodine causing Hashi's. SOme people get good benefits form iodine but personally I wil never touch the stuff EVER again. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
