Guest guest
Your ratio is 18.4 nto good but not totally horrid either,. Your low ferritin is certainly at least partiall yto blame as it is a known cause of high RT3. You would do the calculation liek this 350/19 -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
, thank you very, very much. That method is good to know. If I can get my ferritin up, do you think my symptoms might get better? Do you think it would be worth asking the doctor about T3 only treatment, or as you said, am I " not that horrid either " ? Would very much appreciate your advice on the T3 only treatment. As most people here I guess, I just want to be able to function somewhat like a " normal " person. And I apologize for the double post - will wait a while longer in the future. > > Your ratio is 18.4 nto good but not totally horrid either,. Guest guest
Thank you, thank you, thank you Val. I will ask my doc to let me try T3 only when I see him in 2 weeks. I need to learn more about T3 only treatment. (Most docs aren't that keen on it, are they?) I am so tired of feeling horrible and walking around like a zombie. Bought some organic vegetarian ferrous fumerate, (chose ferrous fumerate based on the info in the STTM book) but the tablets are only 25 mg of elemental iron. Any suggestions on a good higher-dose iron supplement? (Haven't seen doc since I picked up my lab results myself.)I was going to get the Floradix, but it is low dose too. We are very fortunate for you, and all of your intelligence and wisdom. Thank you again. > > If it were me I would do the iron and go to T3 only.
