Here are my latest results and current symptoms. I'll be sending in saliva for

new cortisol results as well. Meanwhile, I've posted my last set of results for

cortisol at bottom.

Val, I would love to talk to you as soon you as you have time.

Are you avail today/tonight or Monday after noon Pacific time?

I'm Female, 49 years old......

*RT3: 230

*FT3: is 23

*TSH 1.14 / Range 0.35-4.00 uIu/ml

*FT4: 0.99 / Range 0.81-1.48 ng/dL (T4 has actually gone up some, despite my not

supplementing with T4 for some time now)

*T3: 120 / Range 58-159ng/dL

*Ferritin: 27 / Range 13-150 (my number was 17 two years ago. Have been taking

iron supplements all this time, various types, equiv to 200 mg elemental iron

the past 6 months or so).

*Cortisol last checked a year ago (have a kit on hand now and planning on doing

this week):

AM: 6.1 / Range 3.7-9.5 ng/ml

PM: 0.8 / Range 0.4-1.0 ng/ml

Info:

Ive been on compounded bio T3 for some time now (no T4) per Val's suggstion. I'm

having a lot of problems raising it. Im only taking about 7mcg right now which I

know is nothing. The pharmacy says it's sustained release. I get heart

palpitations and my hands get numb/tingly when I try to raise it, along with

other symptoms.

My primary symptoms at this time are extreme fatigue, foggy thinking, memory

problems, NO tolerance for any walking/exercise. My temps are low most of the

day, under 97. Noticed last night that temp went up a bit before going to bed.

Hit 97! I have many additional symptoms of adrenal exhaustion, hypothyroid, low

ferritin. I also have a lot of problems with my period the last year or so. Very

bad cramps (I have several very small fibroids) and heavier bleeding. I take 200

mg of progesterone at night. My situation has gotten to the point where Ive been

wondering if I should go to the hospital...but Im not sure what they would do

for me!...especially considering I'm with Kaiser. Maybe make it worse!? Im

barely able to function at a minimal level now (I do a bit of work on the

computer at home, feed myself, etc), and Im desperate for help with this, as I

feel like I'm not going to be around much longer if this continues! I'm barely

keeping my head above water. Just....barely. Mostly not functional. Have to have

roomie take me to the store, etc.

Oh...and to make matters worse, I have developed what appears to be vertigo,

over the past two weeks. I cannot stand up for long without feeling very

woozy, and moving around is hard to do. Feel very unstable. Im not sure if this

is a new symptom of the issues mentioned above (?), or if it came as a result of

the cold I had recently.....maybe I created additional pressure with the saline

irrigation I did at that time (I do this daily for bad sinus/allergy issues)? I

did feel increased pressure when I did it while having the cold and some pain. I

stopped the irrigation for the most part (and that fact is now causing

additional problems with sinus).

UPDATE FOR ABOVE: doctor said i have labrinthitis due to complications from a

cold i had.

Anyway, I feel absolutely horrible with the vertigo on top of all the other

problems which have been getting worse and worse. The last year was really

stressful. Guessing my adrenals might be taking a dive. How can you tell

(without having new cortisol numbers on hand yet). Anyone have any thoughts

about all the above?

nervx
