I " think " the Igenix (spelling?) is supposed to be a more accurate test than

most. I did the Western Blot years ago and tested positive for Borelia

Bergdorfori. I had been diagnosed R.A. prior to the Lyme diag. I wish I had

known more in 1981. I sometimes think all I ever had was Lyme. My bloodwork

has returned almost to normal with antibiotic theraphy--getting rid of my

" off-the-charts " R.A. factor, etc.

Hi ,

Thanks for the information. Are you saying that the AP for rheumatoid

arthritis eliminated your symptoms without you addressing the lyme? If so,

that's encouraging. From what I've read, lyme is a tough bugger to diagnose and

even tougher to eliminate.

my name is and I have been diagnosed with RA in 84.

When you say treatment for RA what do you mean? Have you taken just Doxy and

that took care of it?
