Guest guest
Those muffins were just too hefty and chewy for my family. They are used to and much prefer my old muffin recipe converted to NT principles (which bake 15 min at 400). I asked Sally about that and she said that if that worked better, go for it. My family looooooooves the cornbread. Also the crackers (not the sprouted ones though). The sourdough was ok, but a little too sour. They love the waffles/pancakes, all rice recipes, every cookie/bar recipe. Sonja in IA

They are a pain to mix up though...the soaked flour gets stiff and it's hard to integrate the other ingredients...and the work involve makes them even stiffer. > They are used to and much prefer my old muffin recipe converted to >NT principles (which bake 15 min at 400). I haven't tried yet, but I figure if I change the order of ingredients and soak the oat bran in the applesauce that it should take care of the phytates. Heck, I might even add some fat. :-) -- Quick www.en.com/users/jaquick " One of these days someone smarter and younger and more articulate than I is going to get through to the American people just how really messed up it has become. Guest guest
Did you catch 's post earlier about sourdough? In it she states that sourdough does not taste sour if you feed your starter three times a day. I tried it and its true. Mine has no sour taste whatsoever and my kids eat it all the time (mostly toasted). I think her post was #965, FYI.
