I have this book and have been using it. I have just focused on the vegetables

and have not done much with the fruits yet.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.

I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough ''Hello's " to get you through the final goodbye.

Keeping Food Fresh : Old World Techniques & Recipes by Claude Aubert

(Editor), Eliot

This is a book that I have come across and found to be quite

interesting. It discusses preserving foods so that their nutritional

value is preserved as well as possible. It is a compilation of recipes

from readers in France of a French gardening magazine. Many of the

recipes include lacto fermentation. The book omits canning and

freezing techniques and stays with simpler, more traditional methods

of preserving.
