Guest guest
nick..my daughter 18 yrs ....on 3.25 grains of NT was giving a script today for some T3...doctor wants her to start by dropping 1 grain of NT and adding in 5 of T3 in morning and again in evening....then after a week we can go up on T3 if we need to...she is hoping that my daughter will be able to find a sweet spot on a combo before we get completely off the NT...her ferritin is good and she is using melatonin at bedtime for a mildly fluctuating cortisol...she will draw blood again in 5 weeks and retest RT3 which the ratio had been around 14 last test....her FT3 has been running over the normal range yet she is not hyper symptomatically she is still mildly hypo....we are assuming that her RT3 is keeping her pooling that FT3....and doc is hoping that her previously very low ferritin and B12 got her up in RT3 in the first placeso starting gradually, but she will go as far as we need to ...how does this plan sound...is the 5 in am and 5 in pm ok or should she spread it out a bit more??i would love to hear your opinion...thanks .>Dawn
