Even if the phenomena does exist, I really have to wonder if it wouldn't be connected to the massive depletion that occurs for women who are already nutritionally borderline when their pregnancy/lactation drains them of EFAs, phospholipids, and the gamut of other nutrients. Having said that, however, I should share that one of my older sisters swore that she experienced exactly this phenomenon after her first child. Forgetfulness and difficulty concentrating were her biggest complaints. She does eat a standard american diet though...and she doesn't eat eggs or milk either. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Women who've had babies also look aged, burned out, fried, wrinkled, etc. -- all phenomena which wouldn't happen if they'd been eating right before, during and after pregnancy. - Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
