Guest guest
Hi Brennan, Please read my posts carefully. I never said I was on Doxy. I have never been on doxy. I am only on the antibiotics allowed on the Marshall Protocol. When I am finished with the Marshall Protocol, If necessary, then and only then, will I try the doxy in place of the Minocin in order to prevent further hyperpigmentation and reinfection. If it doesn't work as well as the Minocin, then I will go back to the Minocin. I suspect I will be on some form of antibiotic for the rest of my life. It is plain common sense that even if I eliminate every single micoplasma in my body, There is always a chance of reinfection. Micoplasmas are everywhere and everybody has them. I am convinced that this is not an an autoimmune disease.  In fact, I don't believe there is such a thing as autoimmune diseases. I feel that these micoplasmas which do not have a Cell Wall can and have easily penetrated the cell wall of my immune cells finally overpowering them. I got sick when my immune cells weren't able to handle the load. Minocin helped reduce that load and now my immune cells are working just fine. Since there is always a chance of reinfection as mycoplasmas are everywhere and most people carry the bacteria. We get sick when our immune cells get overwhelmed with the micoplasma infection. So, taking antibiotics from time to time after I am done with the Protocols makes sense. I was on Minocin only for 21 months and then went on Marshall and added the appropriate combo of antibiotics according to the Protocol. I am still on it and have never deviated from the program. Please do not give others the impression that I am using doxy when I am not. I wrote strongly because I do not want any other person to get confused. The correct plan I followed was A/P for 20 months. When I was well into remission, I prepared for MP as I knew I still had colonies of micoplasmas still lurking in my system and felt that I needed to add the other antibiotics in the Marshall Protocol. Doxy was definitely not one of those. Don't mean to come down hard on you, Brennan. I just don't want this confusion to get out of hand. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The best to you all, Dolores & Mike > > From: vinnylid <vinnylid (DOT) com> > Subject: rheumatic Re: Questions from first time AP user > rheumatic@grou ps.com > Date: Monday, November 24, 2008, 8:37 AM > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everybody. I've been on this list for a long time, but I am > just going to see Dr. S in Chattanooga for the first time Tuesday and > getting ready to begin my journey to health on antibiotics. I was > wondering if you guys could help me think of anything I need to ask > the doctor or anything I should know before starting AP. > > > > A few questions I have in mind to ask are: > > > > 1) Will insurance pay for the antibiotics? > > 2) What supplements, if any, should I take along with the abx? > > 3) Should I use vitamin C?
