I got intramuscular iron injections years ago. They helped to some extent, but

the IVs were a lot more effective. It is possible that modern iron injections

are more effective than those I got.

Sorry but I no longer have exact info on how much ferritin went up or how fast.

They told me that each injection gives 100 units/mg(not sure) of iron. And as a

comparison iron iv's give 200 per dose.
