Be careful of ALA becasue it will chelate your iron, copper and zinc. I was

using it when I was chelating my mercury and lead and at the same time it pulled

my iron, copper and zinc. I had good storage of them, but after 10 months I

depleted them to low levels. I was supplementing too, except the iron.

Benfotiamine, Vitamin B12 and Alpha Lipoic Acid.  I have found some guide lines

for dosing Benfotiamine, but not for the other two.  Does anybody have any idea

how much B12 and ALA to take per day?

I'm curious if you found any scientific comments on ALA chelating iron or if it

was just your own personal experience/observation. My doc recently told me that

none of the chelators have been found to work on iron. That goes along with

what Val is saying here.
