Guest guest
Whew! What a difference a day makes...no make that what a difference an hour makes! A half hour with Dr. Sinnott by phone. You are right, Debbie. What a kind and caring person he is! Thank you, thank you...to you and Sally both for the recommendations and all of you for the encouragement. Dr. Sinnott thought too (Debbie, Dolores, Maz) that allergies and a supersensitivity had developed. So he ordered me a script for Zithromycin...started right away..already taken 500 mg this afternoon and evening...and no side effects that I detect. My breathing, though not perfect, has not been affected by this drug as yet. Wow, a relief to think that this may be the answer...to my breathing problems (and not one of the lung diseases) and to staying on Antibiotic Therapy. Can I still call it the AP (protocol) if not on MIno? I'd still like to return to Mino one day for the more specific targeting of mycoplasms. I have my fingers crossed (not really, that would hurt) to see if this will actually be effective like the Mino. But for now I'm filled with gratitude and have forgotten my tears and fears of this morning...mostly. Meanwhile I'll be reading and listening and learning. And I'll keep you all posted as to my 'new' progress. I am still pretty good, tho hips feel like they got hit with sledgehammers...finger joint pain, some swelling. I have decided to hold off for a week to see what happens and then whether to get the PFT (pulmonary test). Get some cardio info then as well, hopefully. Thanks, Debbie, for the info on the finger test thingy. That would be nice. O
