Progesterone Question For Val

Hi Val: 5 days ago I started on sublingual progesterone troches. I have

already improved physically (constant pain, especially in legs, has diminished,

even fatigue has lessened a little). Psychologically, however, this is giving

me problems, I've started having panic attacks. I haven't had these in over 10

years. It seems clear this is caused by the progesterone, as I haven't changed

anything else.

Did my doctor start me on too much too soon? Is this a common reaction?

Is the cynomel FINALLY able to get into the cells? But it doesn't sound hyper

to me, because even when the panic strikes, my pulse stays fairly low (80). My

temps have been around 97.7.

My progesterone on my last labs was too low to measure.

The troches are labeled C-Progesterone (Troche) 200MG/TR. I am supposed to take

1 or 2 troches, twice a day. I've only been taking 1, twice a day.

I have been on T-3 only since October. I am taking 50mg cynomel in 4 doses, 35

mg HC in 4 doses, 1 tab florinef in 2 doses, 3 teaspoons sea salt a day, 3,000

mg potassium/day (most recent electrolytes were all mid-range).

Thank you so much for your help.

Wow that dose is too high ! I have been hysterized since my mid-twenties

ans am 55 now and only given 100mg ONCE a day to take. Too much

progesterone and it can mimick cortisol and bind to cortisol receptors

leaving oy uina cortisol resistannt state, so yeah I bet it is the

progesterone doijng the poanic attacks.

Thanks so much for the reply. I can't believe my Dr. put me such an excessive

dose! I do think the progesterone will benefit me (it already has) but I have

to make a huge change in the dose. I will skip it tonight, then start again

tomorrow at 100 mg a day. Thank you again.
