Guest guest
I had a low aldosterone test and spoke to Val about starting florinef which I did. I'm taking 1/4 tab right now and about to increase to a 1/2. Just have a few questions: 1) Is it normal to have an increase in the need for seasalt? I've been taking 1/4 tab for two weeks (delayed in increasing because of hyper flare and earlier HC adjustment). I've noticed in the last day or two that I really need to drink a lot more seasalt (2 or 3 tsp instead of one) to keep my heartrate down, stop nausea and keep headache away. Could it be that lots is going in to the cells now and keeps emptying out the serum level (so to speak!) Or is there something else going on. 2) Is there a minimum suggested amount for magnesium and calcium? I have mid-range serum levels and did have an rbc magnesium which was 5.9 (4.2 - 6.8) 3) Does (or how does) out of balance electrolytes effect T3 getting in to the cells like too much or too little cortisol? THanks very much for any help )
