Guest guest
TSH 1.01 range 0.40-2.70 > Thyroxine, Free, Direct 0.26 range 0.8-1.8 > T3 Total 643 range 76-181 With TSH showing oyu need MORE Thyroid and T3 this high it si pooling as in tyour body is unable to use it and this is why: Ferritin 18 range 10-154 (ugh!) You need ALOT more iron and to reduce T3 until it comes up or you will have a really bumpy ride as it starts gettign dumped heavily into the cells from being too high in blood now. You need more sodium, and thta just equates to taking some extra unrefined sea salt. Your red blood cells and Heamoglobin are reflectign serious anemia. I don't know anything about iron IV's whiel PG but that is what I would be considering in your place, btu DO reduce T3 as all that pooling in your blood is not doing you any good at all. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/

Guest guest
Thank you very much, Val. Whew, I'm in bad shape! I will ask about the iron IV on THurs. when I see this new Dr. She does do infusions so I am hopeful. How much should I lower my T3 by? Question: I'm in my 12th week on just the T3; can it still clear even with my ferritin so low? I'm thinking that once that happens, I'll be able to retain some of this iron I'm taking ( 200 mg/day plus red meat every day and 1 TB of blackstrap molasses/day). in CA > > TSH 1.01 range 0.40-2.70 > > Thyroxine, Free, Direct 0.26 range 0.8-1.8 > > T3 Total 643 range 76-181 > > With TSH showing oyu need MORE Thyroid and T3 this high it si pooling as in tyour body is unable to use it and this is why: > Ferritin 18 range 10-154 (ugh!) > > You need ALOT more iron and to reduce T3 until it comes up or you will have a really bumpy ride as it starts gettign dumped heavily into the cells from being too high in blood now.
