Guest guest
From serum on the 26th of March:Potassium 4.7 (range: 3.6 - 5.0)Sodium 143 (137 - 145)Calcium 2.41 (2.15 - 2.51)Magnesium 0.91 (0.71 - 0.94) RBC is just above top range. Do I need to supplement then?Ferriton 89Well, the Ferritin is getting higher! Which is great news! I wanna get it to 100+ (maybe 120) and then try to keep it there! I've only been doing 100 mg chelated iron lately, and it seems like it's enough! Gonna switch to Ferrous Sulfate ("Ferrograd 500" iron brand) soon and see how that goes. Why is Potassium so high? I've eaten less potassium-rich foods lately cause I'm worried about my potential high tissue potassium. Now, I was on FLUDROCORTISONE that day of the blood draw, but quit it the day after. Could Fludro cause Potassium to get released from the tissue and into the blood, or? Just wondering why it's so highish!I wasn't drinking a lot of salt at the time, so that Sodium is pretty much my "real" sodium value, which COULD (?) be a result of taking Fludro for 1 week prior to this blood draw. I had a low sodium prior to starting Fludro, at 135/136 at two occasions in the morning, without drinking a lot of salt first.Hmm.. Any thoughts? Got a real nice headache last night - It appeared in the late evening! I had it that morning too, did some salt, it went away. Got a headache again now, and I am soooo not sure why. If it's too much or too little sea salt in me! Is serum sodium the only way to tell?Could it be that I get a headache from switching from my (55 mcg, went down from 65 mcg T3 cause of the 1/4 ERFA Thyroid that was thrown into the mix a few days ago!) 10+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+10 T3 dosing to 10+10+10+10+10+5 in just one day? Is that a bad thing to do, to make the switch so fast? I had about 1 hour in between each 5 dose, now it's 3 hours in between each 10 dose. Nick? What is your say on this one? :-)
