Guest guest
For the ratio...Do I divide 281/16 to get 17.5 which needs to be above 20? Yes you did it right. With your ,labs, are oyu on any thyroid meds? If not you mightbe able to try natural thyroid as your T4 is very low as well. You also shoudl test serum ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
As stated, I have been on Armour (brand) thyroid for 3 years....current dosage of 120 since Feb. 09 and prior to that 90. Guest guest
One more thing....is my dosage (Armour 120) too high? What would happen if I just stop taking it...well weaning myself? Guest guest
TSH - .09 Free T-4 -> .8 Range .8 - 1.8 ng/dl Free T-3 -> 281 Range 230-420 PG/DL These labs show pretty severe hypothyroidism so no your dose is not too high, in fact oyu may not be absorbign it properly. Most people on Natural thyroid feel est wiht FT4 at 1.4 adn FT3 420-450 so oyu can see how low yours really is so it si not a matter of you taking too much thyroi dthat is causing hti sproblem The supressed TSH is a sympotm that oyur body is not able to use thyroi dproperly. Thus I feel ferritin si a good bet as a cause for this. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
