As a reminder, I've had 3 iron IV's in the past 10 days. So I became temporarily hyper from the T3 that had pooled in my blood, and I stopped taking T3 for a couple of days. As a result of that, I became very weak and shaky and you advised I resume T3 slowly. I've been doing that to good effect, am up to 10 mcg twice a day of SR T3--before the iron I was on 15 mcg twice a day.

This morning I was out shopping. About 3 hours after my morning dose of 10 mcg SR T3, I suddenly became weak and my legs felt like jelly. I felt immediately that I must need more T3, but had none with me, because I was taking SR and thought I'd need no more for 12 hours. I came home and took 5 mcg of regular T3 sublingually. That was 2 hours ago. I feel better, but still a little weak. It was very clear to me that I needed more T3, and the extra 5 mcg did help, though I might have been able to handle more. I'll take another dose in an hour, if the idea I describe below sounds good.

On the website, you reference dosing every 3 hours. Since I now seem to be having more hypo symptoms, I feel it must be time to increase T3. Since the morning dose lasted only 3 hours, I'm thinking maybe I could take the 10 mcg SR T3 doses 12 hours apart as you suggested, but fill in every 3 hours with regular T3 at 5 mcg. Maybe that way I can slowly move into regular T3 at spaced intervals, and begin a program of steady increases, depending on symptoms. Does this sound feasible, or would you recommend a different approach? Thanks.

Another reminder--I'm now also on 20 mg/day of HC, double my former inadequate dose. My insomnia is gone, and with an evening dose of SR T3 and 2.5 mg HC, I'm sleeping very well.
