I increased supp from 4000 to 10,000 when I got this back Homocysteine, plasma 5.8 (0.0-15) RBC magnesium 5.1 (4.2-6.8) DHEA-S 24.2 (44.3-331) IGF-1 293 H (94-252) Testost Total serum 688 (280-800) Testost Free 20.5 (6.8-21.5) Estradiol 11 (3-70) SHBG 28.4 (14.5-48.4) Plasminogen Act Inhibitor-1 9 (0-14) Ammonia, Plasma 126 Alert (27-102) 2-24-10 On HC 32.5 daily, Cytomel 35 mcg daily, T3 only for over 3 weeks TSH 0.141 (0.45 – 4.5) FT3 4.0 (2.0-4.4) FT4 0.69 (0.82-1.77) RT3 148 (90-350) I am feeling less hypo and my temps are stable the past week, 98.4-98.5 on 35 of Cytomel, but when I had tried increasing to 40 the temps got low and then high and I was getting real hot and palps and waking up at night hot with heart pounding. Not since I decreased back to 35. Do you think I can clear RT3 on such a low dose of cytomel? My basal is still 97.4-97.6. I have had my 4th IV iron and will stop for one week and get iron and ferritin labs and check eletrolytes again. Is one week long enough off iron to check ferritin, even if it is IV?
