Hi All

I have some news on Joanie via her sister. It all is definitely not good

and any prayers you have would certainly be welcome.

Joanie is back on a ventilator in ICU, as she again had problems with

vomiting when they tried to extubate her. At this point she also has a

couple other problems going on and is in bad shape. She is unresponsive at

this point and they have scheduled an EEG to determine her brain activity

status.

Well I am sad to read all this :( . I'm not even sure what to say anymore.

A HUGE Hug for Joanie, and it would sure be nice if God could shine a large

dose of comfort and strength her way too, PLEASE ?

Ugh... Okay... I can't give all the details as they are private. But I will

say.. this story is way more complex than " no one had time for her " and her

family cares about her very much.

Please don't judge unless you know the whole story.

Not necessarily. Some of HEI doctors do skull base surgeries. That is where my meningioma was done and my shunt put in.

I am pissed! This lady was talking and seemed FINE before this. This is a not

the 1st person Ive known this to happen to. Pete, can you tell us if there were

other factors, other brain tumors, what did this to her??????????? I'm not being

nosy or morbid I just need some way to rationalize this, it doesnt make sense.

Pete,

What a horrible outcome for Joanie. We still don't understand what happened

and what they did for sure. This will make several of us anxious until the

full story is told. Thanks for your up-dating us. You can be sure I will

say prayers for Joanie and her loved ones. vicki
