My doc thinks it should be between 10-20 (postmeno) and I was on a 350mg troche, which she upped to 400mgs. My liver enzymes are also slightly elevated. Since upping the dose, I've been able to stop taking melatonin, and I sleep much better. I also increased my aldosterone. With those 2 changes, I got high cortisol symptoms and gradually decreased my HC from 40mgs to 20. Do you think I'm getting myself into trouble with such a high progesterone dose? > > Also, I can't tolerate more than one 20mEQ Slow-K since taking antibiotics, and the fluid retention is terrible. I was taking 6 before. Do you think a vitamin IV with lots of K would help? Or not for long since it's excreted quickly? I wish I knew if I could tolerate another form better. K-Dur burns.
