Val: Need input/is another increase warranted or should I hold?

Hey Val,

I am currently on 40 mcg T3 dosed 4 x a day & 25 HC dosed as follows: 10, 7.5, 5

& 2.5. Temps have been stable at 98.4. Pulse has been in mid 80's & BP OK. Also

on 1 tab of Florinef & 80 meq K-Dur. Have finally come off of my Prilosec &

Claritin. Last 2 days have had to stress dose w. HC bc of chest tightness & work

stress. I am thinking I may need to increase HC slightly as I feel the T3 is

burning thru my cortisol quite a bit.

My last ferritin lab was 89 so I am good there. Had full iron panel & all

numbers look good. Have had 4 IV iron rounds. May have another one w.in next 2-4

wks.

Have been feeling itchy today quite a bit. Also very blue/depressed & lots of

a.m. muscle aches & in p.m. when I am due for my next dose of T3.

I have decided to stick w the T3 only therapy even tho my FT3/RT3 ratio has gone

up to 25. I have now been on T3 only for 10 wks.

Any input would be appreciated. Also, how long do most phone consults w you run?

I am thinking of calling you as I want to get things right once & for all. Thnx
