Hello Kathy. Are your hands hurting from Raynaud's or just RA. My wifes hand

started hurting recently after lowering her prednisone dose (trying to wean

off). It started hurting after lowering it by 10 mg. We went ahead and bumped it

back up 5 mg and it seems to be ok for now. She's been on mini for about three

months now.

my right hand has been starting to hurt again. I had a bad cold for 4 weeks, but

its pretty much gone now. I take 100 mg every day. Im wondering if I should

wait it out and see if it gets better or increase my dose? I have had to take

pain releivers this week, havent needed them in 2 yrs.. Im also doing a

juggling act with my thyroid meds and hormones, Im not sure how much that would

affect my pain? Thanks, kathy

no, I dont have raynaurds. Just my joints have been hurting again in my right

hand only. I have been diagnosed with Rhuematoid A, Psoriatic A, and Reactive A

(3 different DRS) I think the last one is the correct one. I just want to 'nip

it in the bud " before it gets worse. Kathy

I can understand your problem, I'm waiting to have tests done myself, my wrise

and fingers hurt, but now its my ankles to. I have been sent to see a

rheumatolist to see whats up. I had a lower back fusion done the l4, l5 and s1

and I feel I've been going down ever since. I had knee surgery as well, miniscur

tear they say. I feel like im falling apart, wish I new what was going on. I

hope my test turnout ok.
