Guest guest
Hi , These sound great, though I am wondering about possible side effects. This article is helpful: http://arthritis.about.com/od/topicalnsaids/a/voltaren_gel.htm But kind of mumbles about risks. First they say it has the same risks as other NSAISs (including the oral forumulaic of the Voltaren) then it seems to sugges that the risks are much less because there is only 94% of the systemic intake because it transdermal. I don¹t understand why one would have the same gastrointestinal risks as the oral. It sounds like they haven¹t studied it enough..... Anyway it sounds like a great possibility with good results in the trials. I¹ll definitely ask my doc about it. Guest guest
94% systemic intake from a Voltaren patch? More like 6%, I would think – systemically. I haven’t had any side effects. Guest guest
Did I write that before coffee? I meant it the other way around... Which gives the Sam 6% that you mention. Guest guest
Has anyone used the above? If so, how effective is it? Does it have a smell, or a fragrance? If so, what does it smell like? (I am allergic to fragrances) Thanks - Les
