Guest guest
With all of the doom and gloom in this group about all of the problems with RT3, I offer a success story about how easy it was to feel incredibly better by supplementing with T3. First, I'm a 52 y/o male with good ferritin and adrenals. After a bought of H1N1, I degenerated into an immobile mass of human generating fat that couldn't think his way out of a paper bag. With an average oral temperature of 96.2, I was truly miserable. I did the doc thing, several times, and their best answer was that I sub-clinical hypothyroid. A bit of research -- and I found this board. Turns out I had a FT3/RT3 ratio of 6:1. It's true, I really felt like whale poo; it didn't seem like I could get any worse. Forward a month later and 75 mcg Cytomel a day, I became human again. Suddenly I can think and go up a flight of stares without fatigue. While my dosage varies between 75 and 125 mcg per day, I haven't felt this good in years, and I'm loosing weight. I adjust my dosage on how I feel going up that flight of stares to my bedroom. In all, I'm a new man, and eternally grateful to this group. Alan
