If I were taking an antibiotic long term I'd definitely take one or the other of these supplements to try and prevent leaky gut. How many times in the past years have we heard of people on the AP and taking a probiotic still ending up with leaky gut? They can't seem to get well. That could be because the probiotic they were taking was ineffective or they weren't taking enough of it. Then too, I've known situations where the body was so toxic the individual had to do major cleansing before the probiotic could keep the intestinal tract in balance.
