Re:auto-immune pancreatitis

I know that you aren't posting much lately. I'm glad that you have some

answers and I hope you can get some relief. I was just wondering if you

could keep me updated as to how your doctor was going to treat your

pancreatitis if it is auto-immune. I know we discussed before how 's

doctors think that his could possibly be auto-immune. Unfortunately, the

only option he has mentioned so far is high doses of steroids to suppress

the immune system. Not only is this dangerous, but as everyone has been

discussing, the steroids can actually make things worse. I don't think

this is an option worth trying. So, any information you can offer will

be greatly appreciated.
