Guest guest
My temps rose significatively 18 days ago. I was on 75 T3 and 32.5 HC. Then after a few days I got labs with this results: Sodium: 138.0 mEq/L (135-145) Potasium 3.96 mEq/L (3.5-5 Ferritin: 121.7 ng/ml (12-200) THYROID: TSH: less than 0.005 uU/ml (0.5-5) Free T4: 0.21 ng/dl (0.8-2.2) Total T3: 5.45 ng/ml (0.8-1.8) Free T3 : 10.37 pg/ml (1.8-4.2) Now I have reduced T3 to 50 and HC to 30. However, I think there is something not quite right and I don't really understand what is going on. My temps have continued being higher than before, but they are not so high (basals pre-ovulation 36.4/36.5 (97.5/97.7)), particularly having into account that I must have been rather hyper, with Free T3 of 10.37. On the other hand pulse is too high, often around 100. I guess this could be partly because of low electrolites, but I have tried the salted water test and I don't see a clear difference in pulse rate. I haven't been able to do daily average temperatures properly during the last few days because I couldn't get any private time at my work, but the little I have done suggests temps are fluctuating somewhat. So, Considering my temps, I am still hypo. Considering pulse and labs, I am hyper. and adrenals may be undersupported (not sure), but I am already on 30 HC... What shall I do in this situation???!!! Thanks a lot,
Guest guest
Yuo should have waited till that excess T3 cleared before reducing HC. I owuld increase it back to 325mg for a week or even two to make certain those levels have fallen. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Sorry Val, I don't understand what you mean, please, could you explain a bit... I reduced HC between the day the temp rise and the day I had the blood draw. I was feeling really sleepy and you suggested to reduce HC to see it was because of too much cortisol. thank you very much, > > Yuo should have waited till that excess T3 cleared before reducing HC.
