Guest guest
Hi I think that I may have an issue wih converting the T4 into T3.... I have read lots of your information about this but I am still confused (lots of brain fog at the moment!!) I was taking 250mg of Thyroxine until early last year when I found out about NDT and started taking this - GP was very unhelpful so I self medicated and stopped the Thyroxine. I felt wonderful for some months, lost weight and felt alive. Now I feel hypo again even though I have increase the NDT to 5 grains a day split over several doses. I have consistent headaches and so much joint an muscle pain that I thought I had fibromyalgia. I am stuggling to stay at work as the brain fog and pain make concentrating very difficult. Anyway I have arranged to have a new blood test and have asked for RT3 to be tested although the lab may not do this. She is also testing for Diabetes, liver and kidney functions. I have to have a xray as she feels that the back/leg/neck pain is biomechanical in nature. I have ordered some T3 from Mexico although I understand it can take some time to get here. Please can anyone give me any advise of any supplements with doses that I can take to support me. Many Thanks Sally
