I'd say you should use grass-fed butter for EVERYTHING, but if you bake or use butter in other high-temperature applications and you have a cheaper source of pasteurized grass-fed butter, I suppose you could save a few bucks by using that. I'd always choose the best butter I can get - which at the present time is grass-fed and organic. Keep in mind that commercial butter may have other undesirable components (growth hormones, antibiotics, ?). So I'd recommend organic grass-fed if available.
